Online critics slammed the daughter of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow after Apple, 20, appeared in a TikTok video last week, leading to accusations of “mean girl” behaviour.
In the viral video posted by Paris matchboth girls are introduced. Loppin de Montmort can be seen posing for a photo before Apple jokingly jumps in to strike her own poses – a move that was criticized by some in the comments.
Speaking to people on Thursday, December 5, Loppin de Montmort hit back at the claims and instead had only good words for Apple.
“(Apple’s) really the nicest girl! She really doesn’t deserve an ounce of what she’s getting,” Lopen de Montmor told the publication. “She was the nicest girl ever, not only to me, but to all the girls!”
Apple made it debut in high society at the annual event held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris on Saturday 30 November.
Among other debs this season were To Sophia Loren granddaughter Lucia Sophia Ponti, Princess Eugenie of Bourbon and Sophie Kodjoudaughter of actors Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker.

It took a creative director Alessandro Michele and his team 750 hours to craft the Apple dress, which she paired with blue strappy heels from the brand.
Friendly exes Chris and Gwyneth, who also share son Moses, 18, attended the event, with the Coldplay musician sharing a sweet father-daughter moment with Apple.
The singer shared a slow dance with Apple as part of her induction into formal society, with Chris smiling and laughing as she danced in a ballroom for the occasion, according to a TikTok shared by Paris Match.
Gwyneth and Chris famously “consciously split” in 2014, but have vowed to be co-parents over the years.
“Chris and I have made a commitment to put them first, and it’s harder than it looks because some days you really don’t want to be with the person you’re divorcing,” Gwyneth, 52, said on The Drew Barrymore Show in September 2020 “But if you’re committed to a family dinner, then go for it. You take a deep breath, look the person in the eye and remember your pact, smile, hug, and recommit to this new relationship you’re trying to foster.”
