The NBA world was hit with perhaps the craziest trade in a generation in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to multiple reports, the Los Angeles Lakers And Dallas Mavericks came to an agreement to exchange Luka Dončić and Anthony Davis as part of a blockbuster deal with three teams.

The Lakers received Dončić, Maxi Kleber and Markijff Morris, while the Mavericks take on Davis, Max Christie and Los Angeles’ 2029 First round Pick.

ESPN’s Shams Charania broke the trade early on Sunday morning, and because of the Star -Power involved, the immediate response was that the reporter had been hacked. However, it was later confirmed by several other points of sale.
Charania reported that the MAVS recently approached Los Angeles and said that their 25-year-old global superstar was available through trade; Dallas General Manager Nico Harrison ESPN told that he was worried about the defense of the team, which is now being improved en masse by replacing Dončić with Davis.

But Dončić is a phenomenon, and a young one. The Slovenian led the NBA with 33.4 points per match last season and only becomes 26 later this month. In his career, it is on average 28.6 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists, making it in the MVP every year -conversation of his young career in the MVP interview is brought.
It was also reported that LeBron James did not know the trade until the news broke, while he was eating out in New York shortly after his Lakers beat the New York Knicks – Davis was inactive for the game.
Davis, a defensive player of the year last year, places 25.7 points and 11.9 rebounds this season, both slightly better than his career sides of 24.2 and 10.7.

The Mavericks lost last year in the NBA Final and Dončić received some criticism of his defense and attitude. Perhaps there is more in the story than what is public at the moment.
