Paul Scholes says that Kobbie Mainoo seems lost as he was developed in various positions by Manchester United Ruben Amorim.
Mainoo took huge strides last season, breaking to become a United Regular and then playing for England at Euro 2024.
But his progress has stopped in recent months and Scholes believes he is under the lack of a steady position.
Mainoo has played in a defensive and aggressive midfielder in recent weeks, and even as a false nine in Crystal Palace.
And Scholes feels that Amorim is not making him favorable.
Former United and England midfielder said in the debate on the coating fan: “I think the mainoo was lost. I’ve talked about the Declan Rice lost before – I think the mainoo is also lost. They don’t know what to do with him.
“I don’t think he knows where to play on a football stadium because he has played in one of the positions of No. 10. He has played in two in the middle section, which I can probably see him because I don’t think he is the greatest athlete .
“He’s a great footballer. I think number 10 makes the suit, (but) the fake nine? Never in a million years. ”
