Even though he has long since left the show, presence of Kevin Costner is still very much felt by the cast of “Yellowstone” as the show kicks off its fifth season.
Denim Richards, whose character Colby was recently killed off on the show, shared his first memory of seeing Costner when the cast got together to do a table read.
“Everyone comes together and (Kevin Costner) comes in. He has a huge presence, but so humble,” Richards said. The New York Post.
“Everyone’s getting ready to get up from the table to read and go outside. (Costner) said, ‘I don’t know about you guys, but I’m terrified. So why don’t we get along so well possibly together?’ can, and make this possible, and support each other”.

Richards said after Costner’s speech, “You could feel the stress leave the room. It was a beautiful thing.’
He continued: “This is an Oscar-winning legend… whether he was actually scared or not, who knows. But it gave everyone the extra confidence that there is no hierarchy.”
“You felt the stress leave the room. It was a beautiful thing.”
Costner starred in the first five and a half seasons of “Yellowstone” as John Dutton, head of a Montana ranch run by his family, Kayce (Luke Grimes), Jamie (Wes Bentley), Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Beth’s husband. Rip (Cole Hauser).

Richards said Costner’s confession “helped take the stress out of the room.” (Paramount+)

Early in the second half of this season, Costner’s character was killed off. The Oscar winner had already left the series before the episode aired, after scheduling and contract issues arose in part with him “Horizon: An American Saga” movie series.
Originally, the current season was going to be the series’ last, but there are reports that a spinoff is in the works starring Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton and her husband Rip Wheeler.
Hauser recently shared his own reflections on the show with People magazine ahead of tonight’s final.

“It’s been an incredible experience these last few weeks, just seeing people and getting their recognition of the show and the character and what it means to them,” he told the outlet.
He loved all the details about a spin-off or the overall future of “Yellowstone” quietly, but did say, “We’ll see what happens in the next year, and we’ll see what’s next. Hopefully we can continue to get into people’s living rooms and entertain them all the time.” as we have done for the past seven years.”

Hauser has not confirmed or denied any rumors about a spin-off with his co-star Kelly Reilly. (Decisive)

“I think America has spoken. They still love the show. There are obviously a lot of people who get together every Sunday with their families, and we’re giving them the experience of taking them out of their own living rooms and putting them in Montana. ” and entertain them,” Hauser said. “And I think in the end it’s just that simple.”
