Prior to his curses as FBI director On Friday, Kash Patel explained his top priorities for the agency in a letter to subordinates obtained by Fox News Digital, promises to strengthen the resources of the agency and “to rebuild the trust of the American People in FBI.”
“I am honored that I have been nominated and confirmed as your new director,” Patel wrote to colleagues. “Although I am new to the ranks of the agency, I have spent my career in the government service and the past decade in national security, shoulder to shoulder work with the FBI and many of its partners in law enforcement and intelligence communities. My dedication is always – and will always be – to pursue justice and to maintain the rule of law, and I look forward to continuing that commitment together with you all to make. “
Patel also repeated that keeping Americans safe, both at home and abroad, is a “no-fail mission” that the FBI must continue to support in the coming months.

The letter continued: “While I take on this new role, my priorities are two -fold for our organization. First of all, to offer you the tools and sources you need to keep our communities safe. This includes streamlining the presence of field agents Working throughout the country and more closely with our essential partners State and local law enforcement.
Secondly, it is to ensure that we rebuild the trust of the American people in the FBI. Patel – Nominated by President Donald Trump – was confirmed as the ninth FBI director in a narrow senate voice on Thursday, successor to former director Christopher Wray. He will be sworn in on Friday afternoon.
During the first Trump government, Patel worked as a deputy assistant of the president and senior director for the fight against terrorism. He played an important role in missions to bring down high-ranking al-Qaida and ISIS leaders, including planning the operation that ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi killed in these positions. Patel has also contributed to efforts to conquer some of the most desired terrorists and to bring it to the US for persecution.

Patel was the most important substitute at the office of the director of National Intelligence (ODNI), where he helped with the transition from leadership between acting DNI Ric Grenell and John Ratcliffe prior to his role as a representative of Trump and at the National Security Council.
