Julia’s problems since her 90-day engagement to Brandon run deeper than children


Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs there was a lot to work on entering Day 90: The last resort more than just disagreements about having children.

“We actually have a lot more during this therapy session than we’re going to share,” Julia, 31, exclusively said Us Weekly on Monday, December 2, before Last resort premiere. “A lot more (we’ve) winged all these years, but we came for one problem. We were like, “Okay, that’s just one problem we have.” No, we have a lot, not a “We can fix this tomorrow” kind of thing. Everything will be perfect. No, they are that deep.

Julia and Brandon, 31, tied the knot in April 2020, it was reported season 8 of Fiancé for 90 days. The two had met through Brandon’s friend, initially chatting via video chat as Julia lived in her native Russia. After their wedding, Julia became an American citizen as she and Brandon tried to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds.

“I mean we’re going to talk about my family. Not only is it therapy when it’s kind of like we’re moving away from Brandon’s family,” Julia teased us. “We kind of let them stay in trying to do it to fix our relationship. But my family is somewhat in our relationship and other things about children will shock everyone.

Brandon and Julia were among the fan favorites 90 days couples head to the couples resort to enhance their relationship. As for Julia, she didn’t have “a lot of expectations” about where the trip was leading.

“For my part, I know I will be open 100 percent. I will do whatever the therapist tells me,” she said. “It doesn’t matter if it’s bad or good, I’ll do anything. I think it’s a lot and that’s good. So I’m trying to open up and I’m so happy.

She added: “It’s not like, ‘Oh, I’m going to leave this therapy, I’m going to be fine.’ No, I think it was like, “Okay, I’ll open, but that’s not going to fix me tomorrow.” This will help me get on the right track. I try to keep my expectations low so (I won’t be) sad if it doesn’t happen.”

Julia and Brandon also had group therapy with the other participants.

“We are all tired. We all have our problems,” Julia said wryly us. “Everybody has different (issues). You will see in the first episode … but not everyone will open up.”
