Johnny DeppJack’s 22-year-old son works as a bartender in Paris instead of following in his father’s acting footsteps.

The owner of the Lebanese restaurant L’Area in Paris talks about Daily Mail on Saturday, December 7, for Jack’s bartending gigs and in the venue’s downstairs kitchen.

“Jack is a great guy. He shunned the limelight, but he worked here behind the bar and in the kitchen.” Edward Chuke said at the exit.

Jack quietly he worked in the restaurant for two years before recently leaving. “He was a good employee, he left a few months ago, but I expect him to come back later next year,” Chueke said. “Good staff are hard to find.”

Chuke noted that Jack’s mother, Vanessa Paradisand a sister Lily-Rose Dep were “regulars” during his time at the restaurant, adding: “Lily was mixing caipirinis behind the bar and she really fell in love with it, she had fun.”

Depp, 61, and Paradis, 51 welcomes Lily-Rose, 25, and Jack during their 14-year relationship. The former couple met in 1998 when Depp was filming The ninth gate. Depp and Paradis never married.

“I never needed that piece of paper. Marriage is truly soul to soul, heart to heart. You don’t need someone to say, ‘Okay, you’re married,’” Depp said Extra in 2010 before their separation. “If Vanessa wants to hook up, why not. But the thing is, I would be very afraid of spoiling her family name! She has such a nice last name.

Paradis, for his part, previously revealed about her and Depp’s decision to raise their children near her hometown in France.

While Lily-Rose pursues a career as an actor and model, Jack prefers stay out of the limelight.

“Other than school plays and stuff, he hasn’t shown any desire to be an actor,” Depp told Philippine Daily Inquirer in 2014

Lily-Rose suggested some rare insight into her relationship with Jack earlier this month, calling his younger brother “the coolest guy ever” as he chatted with him Natalie Portman for Interview magazine for her role in Nosferatu.

“This one in particular was big for me because my brother and I were both super obsessed with Dracula when we were younger. My brother used to dress up as Dracula when he was a kid for school,” she recalls. “I thought, ‘Wow, if I get this role, my brother will finally think I’m cool.’
