Podcaster Joe Rogan had several moments this year that shaped the American national discourse in unprecedented ways.

Rogan’s podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” was already known as one of America’s most popular shows, discussing the cultural and political issues of the day. But while post-election Americans remain as polarized as ever, they can agree on one thing podcasts like Rogan’s appear to influence voters more than endorsements from celebrities or traditional media.

Rogan interviews and endorses Donald Trump

Trump is at the end of October marathon look about ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ has been viewed more than 53 million times on YouTube alone and is said to have been a turning point in the election. During a viral segment of the interview, the former and future president expressed wonder at how he somehow gets more publicity than others, and invited Rogan to suggest why. “I can tell you that for sure,” Rogan replied, laughing. “You said a lot of wild things….”

“Maybe,” Trump replied, smiling.

JOE ROGAN SAYS HARRIS SITDOWN WAS CANCELED AFTER CAMPAIGN TOLD HIM SHE ‘ONLY WANTED TO DO AN HOUR’

“You said a lot of wild things — and CNN in all its brilliance, highlighting your wild things — made you much more popular, and they gave you a boost in the polls because people were tired of someone talking in this bullshit — pre-prepared politician jargon, and even if they didn’t agree with you, at least they knew, ‘Whoever that guy is, that’s him, that’s who he really is.'”

During another segment, Trump recalled Elon Musk giving him “the nicest message of support,” and suggested, “You should do the same, Joe, because you can’t vote for Kamala. You’re not a Kamala person.”

Indeed, Rogan endorsed Trump on the eve of the election, arguing that he shared the link to that day’s interview with Musk: “The great and mighty @elonmusk. If it weren’t for him, we would have been f—ked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you will hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record: yes, that is an expression of support for Trump. Enjoy the podcast.

By comparison, Vice President Kamala Harris’ potential interview with Rogan fell through, reportedly due to opposition from progressive staffers. Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville called this a “huge mistake” and said he would have told such staffers, “I’m really not interested in your uninformed, stupid, jacka– opinion on whether I should take on Joe Rogan or not.”

Rogan calls out Oprah, Michelle Obama DNC speech hypocrisy over wealth: ‘Hey lady, you’re rich as f…’

The Democratic National Convention in August brought together many of the Democratic Party’s most famous leaders and allies Rogan picked two for hypocrisy.

TV personality Oprah Winfrey gave a rousing speech at the DNC, arguing that preserving a democracy “requires us standing up to life’s bullies.” She also recalled seeing and sometimes being on the receiving end of “racism and sexism, income inequality and division.”

Similarly, former first lady Michelle Obama spoke of how her mother showed her “the meaning of hard work, humility and decency,” adding, “She and my father did not aspire to be rich. In fact, they were suspicious of humans. who took more than they needed. They understood that it wasn’t enough for their children to thrive when everyone else around us was drowning.”

Rogan responded by calling out both women for having the audacity to make such statements about wealth, considering their vast wealth.

“What about Oprah?” Rogan said. “Oprah was talking about her and Trump getting together, and now she’s talking to the DNC about him being a threat to democracy and she’s talking about income inequality there, like, ‘Hey lady… you’re so rich like f…’.’ I’m like, ‘How is that right?'”

The podcaster then added, “And also when Michelle Obama said, you know, I think she said her mother or grandmother was always suspicious of people who took more than they needed, like, you’re worth so much money. That’s so crazy.” . You did it on a civil servant’s salary, which is insane.”

Joe Rogan Roasts ‘The View’ as ‘Rabies-Infested Chicken Coop’

Shortly after author Coleman Hughes spoke about his controversial interview on “The View,” Rogan shredded the ABC show as uniquely unpleasant.

In late March, Hughes had joined the co-hosts of “The View” to discuss his book “The End of Race Politics: Arguments for a Colorblind America.” During the show, co-host Sunny Hostin denounced Hughes’ “colorblindness argument” as something co-opted by the right, claiming that many in the black community think he is a “kind of charlatan” who is “being used as a pawn by the right.”

After noting his history of voting for Democrats, Hughes pushed back: “I don’t think there’s any evidence that I’ve been co-opted by anyone and I think this is an ad-hominem tactic that people are using to basically not addressing the important issues. conversations we’re having here.”

Later, when Rogan spoke to the author about his tense conversation with Hostin, the podcaster noted that “The View” is a show that “people love to hate,” mocking it as a “rabies-infected chicken coop.”

Hughes explained, “I didn’t necessarily expect her to try to ambush me in that way and attack my character in that way, and I reacted to it at the time the way I do, and I wouldn’t have expected it to go this way. as viral as it was, but I think it’s gone arguably more viral than anything I’ve ever done.” The author also speculated, “At the same time, it seemed like the most interesting part was that their audience seemed to be on my side.”

Rogan suggested that much of their on-set audience is paid to be there, a practice he said is common in the industry, while “the real fans of ‘The View’ say, ‘Oh, these ladies have it well’, most of them those people can’t leave the house, like they’re probably immobile.” The host also argued that while Hostin seems intelligent, she is being “ideologically captured” and that some other presenters are “very dull-minded.”

Rogan shreds NYT piece by piece asking if the US Constitution threatens democracy

Rogan was stunned after a New York Times writer wrote a piece suggesting that America’s founding document is dangerous to democracy.

The late-summer op-ed, written by The Times book critic Jennifer Szalai, asked whether “one of the greatest threats to American politics could be the country’s founding document.” She went on to suggest that “Trump owes his political rise to the Constitution, making him a beneficiary of a document that is fundamentally antidemocratic and, in this day and age, increasingly dysfunctional.”

Rogan expressed bewilderment that the piece was not satirical.

“This isn’t the Babylon Bee; this is a real article from the New York Times, see? This is so crazy,” Rogan said on his show. “It’s really hard to believe that someone would print this and the New York Times would say, ‘Yes, we like it, put it out there!'”

“What the hell are you talking about?” Rogan asked rhetorically as he thought about the piece. “One of the greatest threats to American politics could be one of the greatest documents on which any country was ever founded, if not the greatest ever? That could be a threat to American politics? What politics are we talking about? Like what – how could you maybe enlighten me enough to go along with you on this?”

Rogan jokingly claims Biden voted for Trump: he’s ‘never been happier in his life’ that Harris lost

Rogan jokingly suggested that after Biden was ousted from the Democratic nomination, he actually was glad Trump won against his Democratic running mate.

A big reason why Trump’s visit to the White House went so viral was Biden’s warm welcome. Commentators from podcasters to journalists expressed open surprise that Biden greeted him with a “Welcome back,” a stark departure from his history of fiery speeches denouncing him and his supporters as a threat to American democracy.

“You know what one of my favorite things about this entire election cycle has been? Yesterday, when Biden and Trump were in the White House,” Rogan said. “Biden voted for Trump. I guarantee it. I guarantee it. I’ve never seen that guy so happy in his damn life. He lost. His party lost. He was happy.’

He then compared the reception to the way then-President Obama greeted Trump after his first victory in 2016, arguing that Obama looked irritated at the time.

When a photo of Biden beaming next to Trump was shown, Rogan immediately started laughing: “Look, look at Biden! Look at his damn smile, dude! Look at his damn smile, man. like when your child gets married.”

Rogan went on to say that Biden felt joy over Harris being soundly defeated, then remembered the president placed a Trump hat on his head while we campaign.

“I guarantee you, I guarantee you that mother was happy. He had a huge smile on his face. He said: ‘Welcome back’ for him,” he joked.
