In a video shared via TikTok on Thursday, January 16, Jonas, 35, showed up dressed in drag. In the six-second clip, the Jonas Brothers star wore a full face of make-up, a layered bob wig and a plunging black satin dress. He lip-syncs to a popular TikTok sound that reads, “I’m going roller skating, don’t touch my stuff!”
In the caption, Jonas simply wrote “💅.”
Jonas Brothers fans flocked to the comments section of his video to share their reactions to Jonas’ new look. “I’m obsessed with this, I can’t explain it,” one fan wrote, while another said, “this is ✨real✨ this is ✨me✨.”
New York based influencer Haley Khalil also took to Jonas’ comments section, writing: ‘We know this diva’, while another fan asked: ‘Why do you look like Patti LuPone.” Another commenter also compared Jonas to an actress Selma Blairwriting: “Tell me why I thought it was Selma Blair 😂😂.”

Jonas didn’t elaborate on exactly why he was dressed in drag — or reveal his potential (please tell us it exists!) drag name. However, he was recently spotted in Toronto, Canada on the sets of Brother Nick Jonasupcoming holiday movie starring the wife Priyanka Chopraper TMZ on Tuesday, January 14. While not much is known about the new film, it is reportedly a Disney+ project.
Jonas’ life has changed significantly over the past few years. In September 2023 he filed for divorce from his now ex-wife Sophie Turnerwith whom he shares two daughters: Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2. His second solo album, Music for people who believe in lovedropped in October 2024. In an interview with Billboard earlier that year, Jonas talked about the process of creating his latest project, calling it both “scary” and “liberating” after the divorce.
“I’m a happy person and the music had to be like that — but also the journey to get here,” he told the outlet in August 2024. “I’ve been through a lot of life changes, discovering who I am as a person, a father and friend and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think at such a crazy time in my life, I looked at music as an outlet.”
He clarified that while the album is personal, he didn’t plan on tearing anyone down in the process. “I’m not trying to come for anybody on this album,” he said. “I’m not trying to put things on blast.”
Jonas and Tuner were married for four years before the news of their split in 2023, Jonas filed for divorce, calling their relationship “irretrievably broken.” After several legal battles over the custody of their children, the couple announced theirs decision to divide custody in October 2023
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in both the US and the UK,” Jonas and Turner said Us Weekly in a joint statement then. “We look forward to being great parents.”
