Jen Tran and Sacha Farber from 5 times DWTS made us believe in showmanship

Whether they are romantically involved or not, exes Dancing with the stars partners Jen Tran and Sasha Farber definitely made us believe in the 2024 shows.

Tran came to DWTS following the heartbreaking end to her journey on season 21 of The Bachelorette. After accepting a proposal from Devin Straderrevealed Tran on Live during a September episode of After the final rose that her ex-fiancé called off their engagement while their season of The Bachelor was still on TV. Tran was cast in season 33 of the DWTS one day later.

Paired with Farber, the two formed a bond as Tran used her time on the competition series to begin her “healing” journey through dance. She even credited Farber helping to “ground” her. after the dramatic split with Strader.

Tran and Farber sparked romance rumors from fans both on and off the show, even after being eliminated from DWTS in week 6. Speaking with Us Weekly in September, when asked about their chemistry, Tran gushed about Farber, calling him “such an amazing coach.”

“Every week we get stronger and stronger, closer and closer,” she said us. “I really feel like we’ve built such a great foundation.” Tran even shared that he’s (temporarily) bumping into Farber’s couch after DWTS season finale in November.

Keep outfits cute and coordinated

Romantically or not, it’s no secret that Tran and Farber are known for complementing each other when it comes to their outfits. In November, the two stepped out together at the Los Angeles Farmers Market wearing chic, coffee-coded outfits. While Tran was dressed in an orange, brown and cream blazer and gold jewelry, Farber wore a brown turtleneck sweater.

Earlier that month, the duo gave his and her style vibes when they were seen together on another leisurely stroll. While Tran stunned in a plum athleisure ensemble and brown oversized leather jacket, Farber dazzled in sunglasses and a color-block cardigan.

Pet names abound

DWTS fans may remember where they were when Farber called Tran a ‘baby’ in a TikTok video shared in September that eventually sparked speculation that they were a couple. The video shows the two playfully fighting over ice cream after ordering food at McDonalds.

But pet names don’t stop at “baby”. In another tongue-in-cheek TikTok video shared by Tran on Nov. 24 — her birthday — the Bachelorette alum mentioned Farber as “Honey” while relaxing on his sofa. “Honey, can you teach me a dance for my birthday?” she asked him, to which Farber replied, “No.”

While “honey” and “baby” are innocent enough, there is one name Farber would have chosen prefer people not to have used. While appearing on a November episode of the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast, host Tish Cyrus Tran asked, considering what was to come DWTS tour, “How much fun is it to go on tour with your boyfriend?”

The Maiden woman alum, who “would love nothing more” than to be a part of the tour, replied: “Oh my God. If you say boyfriend, he freaks out.”

A steamy couple

Gene Simmons made a splash as a guest judge on the hair metal episode of Dancing with the stars in October. He was particularly impressed by the chemistry between Tran and Farber. Despite his high praise, the KISS frontman gave them low marks for their paso doble on Europe’s ‘The Final Countdown’.

“Well, no argument you two are a great coupleSimmons told the dancers. “Sasha is great as a professional who does it every day, but all the pressure is on you. I must say that apart from being beautiful, you’ve made it.”

Tran and Farber were unfazed by Simmons’ comment. “Listen, he’s an icon. The evening is rock and roll. It’s Hair Metal Night,” Farber said after the episode. “And if you think of an icon, what icon would you think is bigger than Gene Simmons? No one. So to get him to say that – I’ll take whatever he says.

Tran agreed with his partner, saying, “I’ll take whatever he says. Look, I don’t listen to heavy metal, whatever that is. But I know Gene Simmons, and that’s just how amazing he is.”

Private rehearsals

After their elimination from DWTSTran and Farber further fueling romance rumours suggesting that they would continue to dance together. Tran shared a TikTok in October, knocking on Farber’s door, sending fans and DWTS costars in madness. “Private rehearsals starting ASAP,” she captioned the clip, which shows the two embracing after Farber answered the door.

DWTS a judge Derek Hough commented on the video, writing, “I give this a 100. I’m happy for you both ❤ ️,” while DWTS star Ezra Sosa added, “I send it.”

Howe previously said he was “shipping” Tran and Farber together during Disney Night in October DWTS after the couple danced to “Kiss the Girl” by The Little Mermaid. The routine ended with a chaste kiss on Tran’s forehead from Farber, much to the disappointment of the judges, who were hoping for a real joke.

“We wanted to do the scene justice and make it the way the movie was,” Tran said us at that time. “We don’t want to make up things that didn’t happen in the movie, that would be crazy.”

Friends, family and costars fuel romance rumors

It wasn’t just Tran and Farber who fueled the rumours—it was their friends, family, and colleagues, too. Even Jen’s brother, James Tran he joked in the comments section from TikTok, which she shared in November, writing: “When is the wedding rehearsal? 🤔.” The video featured a compilation of Jenn dancing with Farber throughout their time on the show.

Beyond that, DWTS alum Caitlin Bristowwho called Farber one of her “good friends,” further fueled speculation during an October episode of her “Off the Vine” podcast when she said, “(Jen) and Sasha are datingfor sure.”

“I thought, ‘Well, do you just love your partner and your time with Jen?'” He said, “I really do,” Bristow recalled of a conversation she had with Farber. “He was really picking her up and I was like, ‘Are there flirty vibes?’ .

Either way, that didn’t stop the former dance partners from spending Thanksgiving together this year. The former Bachelorette and Farber were in attendance DWTS co-owner Alfonso Ribeirogathers for thanksgiving with his wife, Angelain November. “The cutest couple: Sasha and Jen,” Angela wrote via Instagramalong with a photo of the couple eating next to each other.
