Jason Kells is the latest celebrity to receive a lookalike contest.
Dozens of bearded men gathered in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square Park in hopes of being crowned a Kelce lookalike on Saturday, December 14th. The former Philadelphia Eagles center, 37, acknowledged the event in a subtle way via social media.
Shortly after the race, Kelce changed his X profile picture to a photo of one of the competitors at the event. Although the person Kelce chose to honor shares a strong resemblance and landed in the top three lookalikes, a man named Paul Crossley won the most cheers from the crowds of fans.
“I’m Jason Kelsey,” Crosley joked after his victory in a clip on social media from the philadelphia sports blog Crossing Board. In addition to sharing similar traits to Kelce, Crossley channels the athlete in a hoodie, baseball cap and jeans.
Crossley told local news NBC10 Philadelphia there was “very tough competition” at Saturday’s race. “A lot of guys looked just like me, to be honest here, so it was kind of weird,” he shared. “But everyone came and had a good time and here we are. We all came together, all the Jasons and they were great. They were great competitors.”
Philadelphia is home to other recent celebrity lookalike contests, including one for a Pennsylvania native Miles Teller and quarterback for the Eagles Jaylen Hurts.
While Crosley may have been crowned Kelsey’s unofficial twin, fans have previously pointed out the similarities between Kelsey and multiple characters from the Christmas classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

“There is a tweet about me that a bunch of you may have seen. About a million of you actually,” Jason told a December 2023 Episode his and brother Travis Kelceis “New Highs” podcast, citing a viral tweet comparing him to RudolphThis is Sam the Snowman.
“I’ve always looked like Yukon Cornelius. That’s the one everyone always (says),” he added. “And it’s from the exact same movie, so I was shocked when that got so much steam because I’ve always gotten that one.”
Jason claims that their father, Ed Kellslooked more like Sam the Snowman than him, which Travis, 35, agreed with “a thousand percent.”
Jason isn’t the only member of his family to receive such comparisons. Earlier this month, Kylie Kells joked that it was her “slightly offended” online fans think her and Jason’s 3-year-old daughter, Ellie, looks like Travis. (The couple, who married in 2018, also share daughters Wyatt, 5, and Bennett, 21 months, and are currently pending their fourth child.)
“I was blond, I had a dimple. I feel like Ellie could pass for a mom lookalike,” Kylie, 32, told the Teaser from December 4 for her new podcast, I Won’t Lie. She added: “If we can jump off the whole ‘Ellie looks like Travis’ train, that would be greatly appreciated because that’s the only one I have any chance of having any kind of claim to when it comes to resemblance.”
