Detroit Lions Star receiver Jameson Williams will not be confronted with any competition discipline after an incident in October 2024 in which he was persuaded with a gun without a permit, according to the Detroit free press.
Williams Confronted arrest On a gun attack after he had persuaded on 8 October 2024, where he and his brother had two pistols in the vehicle at the time.
The weapons were correctly registered, but Williams had no hidden carrier permit on him, which could have leaded to an accusation of wearing a hidden weapon in a motor vehicle.

Williams’ brother, however, has a hidden gun permit.
Williams had been in handcuffs on the spot, but he was not put to prison or charged in the incident.
It was also reported that the police sergeant on the spot recognized Williams, because he has a Lions Fan.
In the time of the arrest, the sergeant had called for higher officials and after a lieutenant told the sergeant that the brothers could be released, the sergeant told the lieutenant that he is a “(expletive) hero” and thanked him. That is the moment when Williams was removed from handcuffs and was released without further problem.
According to Bodycam images, the telephone background of the sergeant was a Lions logo.

While The NFL Williams will not discipline in the case, Lions-head coach Dan Campbell spoke about Williams, who was suspended two weeks after the incident, to violate the performance-enhancing drug policy of the competition, before the team opposite the Washington commanders in the Play division round -Futs.
“I love that child because he had to endure a lot,” Campbell said, according to the Detroit Free Press. “And look, part of it is his own do, and he knows that, and that is what I appreciate is that he is – it took him a minute to buy what we did. He can be a bit hard, and It is also why you love him, that’s why I love him.
“He learns from it, and I love where he is. I really do that. I am proud of him.”

Williams had his breakout season in 2024, with 1,001 yards with seven touchdowns on 58 receptions. He also hurried for 61 meters and a score to help the Lions to earn the number 1 seed in the NFC.
