James Kennedy dodges questions about domestic violence arrest


Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy has been silent less than a week after his arrest for criminal domestic violence.

The 32-year-old reality star was spotted leaving the airport in Long Beach, California on Sunday, December 15, after returning from a DJ gig in Wisconsin. Kennedy wore a dark jacket and pants paired with a black baseball cap. He wore sunglasses and a pair of oversized headphones as he walked through the pickup area as he tried to find his car.

On footage posted by TMZKennedy was asked if there was anything he could share about what happened the night of his arrest. More questions followed – including whether Kennedy had spoken to his girlfriend Ali Luber after the incident, but Kennedy did not respond to any of them. Finally he found his car and jumped into the back seat without saying a word.

Us Weekly confirm this Kennedy is arrested on Tuesday, December 10, after attendance Kathy Hiltonthe Christmas party at her home in Los Angeles. According to Burbank police, officers responded to a call “regarding a dispute between a male and a female,” which was later determined to be a “domestic incident.” Kennedy was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence before posting bail.

Attorneys of the personality Bravo turned to his arrest in a statement shared on Friday, December 13. “We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations made by the Burbank Police Department against James,” the statement said. “We understand there were no injuries and we hope that after a careful review, city attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”

An eyewitness told exclusively us that Kennedy “seemed in great spirits” at the Hilton party the night of his arrest, noting, “He seemed in a good place and was dancing and singing and having fun.” A second insider, meanwhile, saw Kennedy “running” through the party and “causing a scene” with “erratic” behavior. A third source said the incident that led to Kennedy’s arrest was a “complete misunderstanding” and Luber does not plan to move forward with charges. “They were arguing and a neighbor was outside and heard them fighting and called the police and the officers came,” the source said us.
