Paul decided to play along with the hatred he thrives on.
The YouTuber turned boxer shared a post about a 392-year-old shark found in the Arctic Ocean.
“Next opponent found. Let’s execute,” Paul told X.
Paul also fought UFC fighter Anderson Silva two years ago. Paul was 25 at the time and Silva was 47.
Despite the speculation, Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions suppressed any rumors that the Tyson fight had been compromised in any way.

“Regarding this fight specifically, I will say this: it was approved by the athletic commission. Our partner was Netflix, the largest media company in America and a public entity. There were professional sports betting on the event,” co-founder Nakisa Bidarian said.
“So if you were to manipulate competition like that, it’s a federal crime. And myself, Jake Paul, Mike Tyson and Netflix executives would all go to jail. They would be putting their entire companies on the line, and we would be putting our entire lives on the line. to do that. It’s ridiculous that people would even suggest that this was in any way anything other than a professional fight… That wasn’t the case with any Jake fight, let alone this fight.
“This was 100% real from start to finish,” he added. “It was so real that the guy had an ulcer, and we took a five-month break to give him time to heal the ulcer so he could perform at his best level. If it was staged, why did we even delay it? We could have just continued with the date: ‘Oh, you have an ulcer, you’re not going to hit each other.’ What are people talking about?”
