Ivanka Trump will support father as he returns to ‘world’s loneliest position’


Ivanka Trump is willing to do that support her father for the next four years, while newly elected President Donald Trump’s return to the ‘lonely’ spot of the White House is just a week away.

During a recent appearance on The skinny confidential podcast about him and her, the soon-to-be first daughter briefly reflected on the first Trump administration, where she served for four years as a senior adviser, and how she plans to serve in another supporting role as his daughter.

“It’s the loneliest position in the world (the presidency), the sheer magnitude of the decisions you make every day, how transactional everyone is with you,” she told hosts Lauryn Evarts Bosstick and Michael Bosstick.

“You know your best friends – everyone is passionate about something, and they all want to spend the little time they have with you, selling you on something they think is good and positive and productive for this country and the world. a very lonely place, and I often thought about it during the first four years, but now I have some distance from it.

“I think what I’m most looking forward to as a daughter is standing up for him and being there for him, to take his mind off things, to watch a movie with him, or to a sports game to watch, to know that He can be with me and be Himself and just relax and that I can offer that to Him in a very loving way, just like His daughter,” she continued.

Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner also served as a senior advisor to her father during his first term, which caused controversy at the time.

President-elect Trump will be sworn in for his second term on January 20, becoming the second person in history to serve non-consecutive terms. As he returns to the White House, his focus remains on issues that voters often raised during the 2024 election cycle: immigration, the economy, foreign affairs.

Since leaving office in 2021, the Trump family has faced serious challenges, indictments and assassination attempts.

Now Trump will face the challenges of foreign wars, persistent inflation, tensions with China and more. With the changing of the guard – namely the coming Republican takeover of Congress and the White House – comes new policies drastic changes could come soon.

Michael Bosstick spoke to Ivanka and called her father political comeback story ‘probably’ the greatest in ‘the history of the world’.

“(My dad is) excited. We’re excited. I think there’s a general excitement in this country that has been catalyzed, and I think it’s going to be a great four years,” Ivanka said.
