“It’s bigger than that” – Kulusevski launches a strong defend on Tottenham’s Boss Postecoglou and shows the lack of assistance from the Board of Directors

Dejan Kulusevski has come to the steady defense of the Ange Postecoglou, insisting that Tottenham’s matches come from deeper issues than the manager or team.

Postecoglou is under increasing control, as Spurs fades in 15th place in the Premier League after a sad run just a win in 11 league matches.

However, a victory over Elfsborg on Thursday would secure their position in the Europa League knockout stages and, as it is, remain in disputes in both domestic cup competitions.

An injury to injury has seriously affected the team, with 11 senior players not available during Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Leicester.

Despite Postcoglou’s repetitive applications for aid, the club has not yet brought to any higher signature on the current transfer window.

Recognizing the situation, Kulusevski admitted that things have not gone well, but there is still room for success.

He said: “I agree with (Postcoglou). We do very well in the cups, so it’s easy to focus on the league but we do very well in the cups.

“This (Elfsborg) is an important game and if we win we go to the next round. So I think we can do good things in these last four months.

“We had games when we showed perfect football, football that many teams in the world can’t play.

“We played beautiful games against (Manchester) United, against Manchester City 4-0, so I think (Postcoglou) is the right man.

“We play for him. We want to win for him and be honest we have similar ideas. I am very positive as a man and I always want to play this football he wants. I have to fight for him because I believe in this football. Yes , I think he’s the right man.

“We’re 10, 11 fit players in four competitions and that’s not okay and that’s why the team pays this price in the league especially. You can see the manager and the players, but it’s bigger than that, it’s all involved.

“We play three games a week with nine or 10 players. This is all I have to say, it’s nothing more than that. I think everyone has to watch the picture and wonder how we came so far. That’s.”
