Cristiano Ronaldo responded to Rasmus Hojlund’s imitation for the famous “SIU” celebration, saying it was “not an act of disrespect” after a 1-0 Danish 1-0 win over Portugal on Thursday.
Manchester United striker copies the virtual celebration of former Red Devil, after scoring a last winner in Copenhagen in the first leg of his quarterly final.
Hojlund insisted that the celebration did not fool Ronaldo, whom Danus called his “idol”, and the 40 -year -old said he was not infected with the incident.
“For me, it’s not a problem,” Ronaldo said. “I know it wasn’t an act of disrespect. I am smart enough to realize it.
“Not only he, all over the world, many athletes are celebrating me.
“For me. It’s honor. But I hope she can see my celebration tomorrow (on Sunday).”

“I remember him scoring from a free kick in 2011 when I went to watch the race and since then I was a huge Cristiano fan.”

The Germans take a minute 2-1 lead back to Dortmund after a goal by Tim Kleindienst and Leon Goretzka secured the victory in Milan.
