Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Thursday that he welcomes President Donald Trump’s Proposal for large numbers of Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip while instructing the IDF to draw up a plan in accordance with the controversial plan.

Katz said that the “bold plan” of Trump “could create extensive opportunities for people in Gaza who want to leave.”

Katz said he believes that the plan should contain several exit options for every country that is willing to receive them.
