Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., accused President Biden of “irreparable” damage to the American justice system as he walked out the door after granting his son a sweeping pardon.
“President Biden has insisted many times that he would never pardon his own son for his serious crimes. But last night he suddenly granted a ‘full and unconditional pardon’ for all the offenses Hunter has committed over more than a decade!” Johnson said this in a statement on Monday.
“Confidence in our justice system has been damaged almost irreparably by the Bidens and their use and abuse of it. Real reform can’t start soon enough!”
