NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Both houses of India’s parliament were suspended on Monday after opposition groups demanded a debate on bribery allegations against Adani Group and communal tensions in the northern city.
Parliament was similarly adjourned for the whole of last week as opposition parties, led by the main opposition Congress, demanded a hearing on the indictment of Adani chairman Gautam Adani by US authorities.
