India will try to continue their sovereignty in England when the two groups Get each other in the first Odi of the three matches series. The match is scheduled to play on Thursday (February 6) at the Vidarbha Cricket Association at Nagpur.
The momentum is with India after a 4-1 win on T20IS. In the last T20I, India completely overcame England, hitting them with 150 runs to finish the series in a high note.

Open: Rohit Sharma (C), Shubman Gill
Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are expected to be the open of India who play 11 for the first ODI. While Yassasvi Jaiswal is also in the team, Gill is expected to take the nod to him.
Gill had opened the Innings for India on their latest ODI mission, which was the series in Sri Lanka and is likely to work with Rohit at the top of the order once again.
However, with Jaiswal waiting on the wings, Gill simply can’t afford too much poor trips with the bat. With Trophy Champions taking place later this month, Gill would be willing to make the most of his chances in the upcoming series.
On the other hand, Rohit will be willing to drive the team from the front. He has put serious pressure on his poor screens lately and will be desperate to hand over the bat against England.
After failing to impress in the series of tests against New Zealand and Australia, Rohit recently underwent a low performance on Trophy Ranji.
Middle -class Batsmen and Allrounders: Virat Kohli, Kl Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel
Just like Rohit Sharma, former Indian ruler Virat Kohli is also under huge pressure. The star we forget about excursions in the series of tests against New Zealand and Australia and recently failed to do well in the Ranji Trophy game. Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel It is expected to be the two rounds in India who play 11 for the 1st ind vs eng Odi. Both Pandya and Axar impressed the recently complete T20I series against England and would seem to impress on Odis.
Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami
India is likely to have two specialized Pacers and one rotating India playing 11 for the first ODI. Kuldeep Yadav is expected to be the rotor with Axar being the other bowling option. With Jasprit Bumrah not available, ARSHDEEP SINGH Mohammed Shami is likely to work as the new ball partner.
