“I would be amazed” – a huge blow to Liverpool, as Arne Slot issues a double injury update before the Cup final

Liverpool Right-Plati Trent Alexander-Arrdarold Now it seems likely to lose the team’s big game in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United this weekend.

Reds will try to win their first piece of silverware of the season as they take Magpies at Wembley this Sunday afternoon.

However, it seems that Liverpool should take over Newcastle without one of their most important players in Alexander-Arnold.

International England left the defeat of the Champions League in Paris Saint-Germain, and LFC manager Arne Slot admitted that it didn’t look good.

“He had to go out, this is never a good sign,” Slot said for Alexander-Arnold, as the Measure.

“And from what I heard from people who saw the pictures of how he was injured, who didn’t do very well. So I would be surprised if he was (available) for Sunday.”

At Konate, he added: “I have to ask, but for me Ibou was more tired than he was.”

Alexander-Arnold will be lost to Liverpool in this big game, but they will surely feel enough to be the clear favorites against Newcastle.

It is another blow, however, for Merseyside giants after disappointment Greeting by Europe by PSG yesterday.

Still, there is a lot for Liverpool to be positive, as they have a permissible lead at the top of the Premier League table and can still win the double this season.
