I am a four -year -old mother, but I will be chased by the Loss of my firstborn son, Weston. Weston was 15 when a pill with a fentanyl-racing him poisoned in 2022.
My son was not an addict; He was a lively, active teenager with a big heart. He went to church twice a week, played football and hockey, surfed in the Pacific and laughed to illuminate a room.
I tried to be the best mother I could be, applauding him at his games, cooking familyiners, volunteering at school, but that was not all enough to save him from the poison that tore our country apart.

Due to the poor border policy of the previous government, our children can no longer learn from their mistakes; Now they die from them.
Weston’s death was not an overdose; It was a poisoning. Like so many teenagers, he wanted to fit and made a mistake to take a pill from a friend, thinking that it was safe. One pill. One error. That is all that was needed to rob us of his future and to steal my son of our family.
Due to the poor border policy of the previous government, our children can no longer learn from their mistakes; Now they die from them.
I hold Joe Biden and Elke Democrat who are responsible for the boundaries of open borders for the death of my son. Everyone!
When Biden took office in 2021, we lived in South California and threw the doors to our country wide open. Our boundaries were a highway for chaos while cartels, human traffickers and fentanyl visits. I never thought it would take my son from me one day. That would never happen in my house; That is something you only saw on the news.

But the policy of Biden and his “Border Tsar,” Kamala Harristurned an eye on the eye on the poison that flooded our streets. They made this happen and families like mine paid for their reckless policy.
Mexico exceeded international law with the cartels and Americans suffer from the consequences
Illicit Fentanyl is now the most important cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 45 and is responsible for almost 70% of the deaths of 110,000 “overdose” that we see every year in this country. One pill … Only one pill can end a life. Weston’s death is proof of that.
It’s not about addiction; It is about a stock that is so deadly and addictive, it is inescapable. And where does it come from? Mexico, with its cartels uncontrolled; Canada, where Fentanyllabs pop up under lax supervision; And China, who send the chemicals that feed this nightmare. These countries did nothing too long while our children died.
That’s why I am President so grateful Donald Trump. He takes the fentanyl crisis seriously, something I wanted that we had seen when Weston was still alive. President Trump implements rates for import from Canada, Mexico and China to keep them responsible for allowing this poison that can flow freely to our country.
He’s not just talking about the problem; President Trump touches these nations where it hurts: exactly in their wallets. The president does not think they have done enough, and not me either. Canada allows laboratories to spread. China floods the market With precursors. Enough is enough!
Four heavy questions for four ‘Sanctuary City’ mayors
These rates are an encouraged wake-up call to force the accountability. They say to our neighbors and trading partners: stop the drugs or pay the price.
Some critics complain about the costs of these rates, but I ask, what are the costs of a child’s life? What value do you put on my child and on the hundreds of thousands of people who have lost their lives on American soil under the last administration?
I would pay everything to have Weston back, and President Trump understands that. He is a father and a hunter who uses the economic muscle of America to protect families such as mine. This is not about politics; It’s about survival.
I think of my Weston every day. He should now be 18, plan his future, his university path, what he wants Major, not reduced to a name on a tombstone. Biden’s Open Borders Let this poison inside, but Trump’s rates are a step to exclude it.

It’s too late for my son, but it’s not too late for yours. The fentanyl crisis has taken too much, stolen with hundreds of thousands of American lives by an illegal drug, a poison that does not seem to stop.
President Trump shows that he is willing to try something else, something difficult. For that I say: Thank you, Mr. President, thank you. Keep fighting!
