Brighton’s leader Fabian Huzeller says south coast fans can dream of appearing at Wembley in the fa cup.
The Seagulls surpassed Newcastle in St James’ Park to close their place in the quarter -finals, with the courtesy of an additional strike by Danny Welbeck.
It was a meager affair, both with Tariq Lampty and with Anthony Gordon being sent.
But it was Brighton who had the effort to continue and win, which means it’s now a game away from Wembley.
Speaking after the game, he said: “It was a very emotional game. A lot of ups and downs. The key was that we stayed together, we were calm, we tried to find solutions.
“They had a great opportunity to hit the position, but then I thought we were checking the game.
“We focused on our solutions. We remain clams. In the second half we were very dominant. We supported a little when we received the red card, but overall it was an excellent performance.
“He’s a great leader, a great model and a great player.”

“We can only win something if we stay together and that’s what we have to focus on. In football there is not much dynamic, but we have to understand why it’s like this at the moment. It is important to stay grounded and continue to do the basic things.
“They (fans) can dream and we can work.”
Scorer Welbeck won the winner when Brighton beat Newcastle in the Premier League earlier this season.
And his chip to win the game is reminiscent of his years, but the veteran in front was just happy to get the winner.
Added: “It’s nice to come here at St James’ Park, such a special atmosphere. The fans made it a stunning atmosphere – great to get the winner, again.
“I feel like we were playing well. We know when we will find ourselves against Newcastle that it is going to be a strong game.
“When you are on the bench, you have to analyze the game and see where you can make the difference and today this is what we did. You see Joao Pedro in the end he is struggling to run. He gave so much and I think this gave us the winner.”
