A Californian Democrat said that he “politely chased” by a stewardess at an airport this week told him that his colleagues looked “heartless” because he was not in favor Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, The 13-year-old boy with cancer who was honored during the address of President Donald Trump as the congress.
Rep. Ro Khanna said that the interaction with the stewardess, which he identified as Jim Barrett, unfolded in Chicago.
“Sir, I am a democrat But the way the party held was embarrassing. Let us look heartless. I don’t care who is there, you stand for the boy with cancer, “Khanna Barrett recalled.” Be more rational and bring your act together. ”
“I replied that some of us stood and clap and we must be the party that still believes in kindness, decency and try to bring people together,” he added to X.

Daniel stole the show during Trump’s address To the congress on Tuesday evening when the president introduced him to the public and officially swore him as a member of the secret service.
“Tonight in our gallery is a young man who really loves our police,” Trump told the crowd. “His name is DJ Daniel (and he) is 13 years old, and he has always dreamed of becoming a police officer. But in 2018 DJ was diagnosed with brain cancer. The doctors gave him a maximum of five months to live. That was more than six years ago.”

Daniel received a standing ovation of a majority of the crowd, although some Democrats were seen at different times while Trump spoke about the 13-year-old.
“To be honest, there were times when I feel anger about some of the actions that happened last month prevented some of my colleagues from getting up not to support the Little DJ Daniel,” Rep. Laura Gillen, a Democrat from New York, also told News12 Long Island this week.

“I got up and applauded this little boy, who comes over cancer, wants to become a police officer – and I was disappointed that I was not accompanied by one of my colleagues,” she added.
