The Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which makes deportation of natives and citizens of an enemy nation without a hearing, was invoked three times during the war of 1812, the First World War and Second World War.
Hours after Trump had called on the law to focus on the Aragua members on Saturday, head of the American district judge James Boasberg of the DC Circuit granted a temporary house ban that prevented the expulsion of five Venezuelans and ordered the plane that they return to the US to return to the US
Homan, who was first in Trump’s action against illegal immigration and massive deportations, wondered why Boasberg would like to see “terrorists” return to the United States.

“The actions of President Trump have made this country safer … That is what American voters voted for. That is our mandate, and the president keeps his promise,” he said.
Homan said that the flight that landed in El Salvador was already in international waters when the ruling was published.
