Members of Hollywood Namur Schoten at President Donald Trump On Sunday during collecting in Washington, DC, for the Mark Twain prize for American humor in honor of television -guest and comedian Conan O’Brien, weeks after Trump revealed major changes in the structure of the Kennedy Center.
Trump, who removed the leadership of the Kennedy Center in February, now serves as the chairman of the Kennedy Center. New members of the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees include Second Lady USSha Vance, Staff chef of the White House, Susie Wiles and deputy Staff Chef Dan Scavino.
Comedian Sarah Silverman focused several times at Trump at the Mark Twain event on Sunday, in particular quoting a 2016 performance of her at Conan on TBS where she dressed as Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
“They wrote a bit where Conan Hitler interviews, who comes up because he is ashamed that he is being compared to Donald Trump,” Silverman said.
“I am actually not an obvious choice for Hitler. I mean, I am an obvious choice for Hitler,” said Silverman, who is Jewish. “Not an obvious choice to play Hitler. But they chose me, and it is this way of thinking that Conan makes great again. I just miss the days that you were America’s some orange A Hole.”

Silverman also remembered when she took a lateral photo of O’Brien’s mouth and placed the image on her phone between her legs during an appearance at Conan in 2012, so that TBs censor the image because of the similarity with female genitalia. Then she gave up the audience to look under their chair, where they would find a copy of the image of O’Brien’s chased lips.
“You can continue and leave those photos in your chair when you go – the man who took over it, likes to grab pussy,” said Silverman, a reference to the leaked access Hollywood -Tape where Trump scooped over the pillow and groping of women because of his fame.
The tape, originally filmed in 2005, leaked prior to the 2016 elections.
Silverman was not the only comedian who planted in Washington during the ceremony. John Mulaney also referred directly to Trump’s Kennedy Center Shake-UpMaking a joke that the president would rename the building after Roy Cohn, the chief adviser of the Republican Senator Joseph McCarthy who supported the Senator of Wisconsin who investigated those suspected Communists. Cohn also had ties with Trump and served as a lawyer for Trump in the seventies and eighties.
“It is an honor to be here at the Kennedy Center, or as it will be known next week, the Roy Cohn Pavilion for large, strong men who love cats,” said Mulaney.
Comedian Will Ferrell, who previously won the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2011, also took a shot on Trump’s executive order on Thursday to increase the Ministry of Education.
“I don’t have time for this. Do you know what I should do now?” Ferrell said. ‘Do you have any idea? I would close the Ministry of Education. ”
Comedian Nikki Glaser, who organized the Golden Globes in January, told reporters on the red carpet, it would be “insane” not to tackle Trump’s shake-up to the event, while he also remembered that the goal of the night was to celebrate O’Brien.

“I think it is insane not to address the elephant in the room. And it is as if it is comical crazy, not to do that because it is there,” said Glaser.
Glaser said that the current political atmosphere offers Comedians the opportunity to seize a ‘rebellious moment’.
“It’s an easy smile to just say something about it, but you also get something to say and a bit of a rebellious moment, which is always fun to work in,” Glaser said reporters on the red carpet. “But I’m not going to make it a meal … that’s not what it’s about.”
Glaser also told reporters that she did not want to discuss politics before because she did not want to alienate public members, and although she is now more inclined to do this, she is worried about death threats and doxxed.
O’Brien also addressed the commotion of the Kennedy Center and thanked the former President Deborah Rutter and chairman David Rubenstein of the Kennedy Center, as well as other employees “who are worried about what the future could bring.”
“Thanks to my people who invited me here a few months ago: Deborah Rutter and David Rubenstein,” said O’Brien.
O’Brien also gave a tribute to author Mark Twain, after whom the prize was named, and claimed that “Twain was a patriot in the best sense in the world.”

O’Brien, that Hosted the Oscars This month and is planned to also organize the event next year, reporters told the red carpet that his material for next year’s prices will depend on the current events, and that ideas for content always change in the run -up to such events.
“I could no longer tell you what next year’s Oscars would be than I could get out of it for three months, you know, nine months left now,” said O’Brien.
Other comedians who have won the Mark Twain prize for American humor are Ferrell, Tina Fey, Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, Adam Sandler and Kevin Hart.
