Manchester United towards the front Rasmus Hojlund admits that he was frustrated by the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag, but admits that he is excited about the future under Ruben Amorim.
Red Devils was separated with Ten Hag in October 2024 after a bad start of the season, appointing Amorim as his replacement.
Ten HAG was responsible for the Old Trafford for two and a half years, securing both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup during its term.
However, despite significant investments in the team, he was unable to raise a team capable of competing seriously for the Premier League title.
United is now looking at Amorim to direct the club back to the top. The Portuguese coach has faced early difficulties, struggling to improve the results as he navigates in an ongoing injury crisis.
Currently, the team is in 13th place in the league. Hojlund, who brought to the club under the administration of Ten Hag, acknowledged his frustration over the Dutchman’s departure, but remains willing to work under Amorim.

Speaking to Tipsbladet, Hojlund said: “I am focused on the project with Ruben because this project is incredibly exciting, but Erik was of course one of the reasons why I moved to Manchester United.
“He did something good and he was a talented coach, but he didn’t work, and so he is.
“It’s the club I always dreamed of playing.
Hojlund recently broke a 21 -game drought for Manchester United. His goal in victory 3-0 against Leicester marked his first for the club since December 7, when he scored against Nottingham Forest.
The Danish striker is currently in international duty with Denmark for the fourth-finished lamps of the Championship against Portugal.
After the break, United will repeat the Premier League campaign with a match outside the Nottingham Forest as they seem to end the season strong under their new manager.
