According to art Instagram post by Stephanie Montag, 38, and Pratt, 41, lost their possessions as the fire swept through the star-studded area on Tuesday, January 7. (TMZ was the first to report the news with sources telling the publication that “the entire family was able to safely evacuate earlier in the day.”)
Us Weekly has reached out to representatives of the couple for comment.
Late on Tuesday, Stephanie, 38, said she was devastated for her family. “Honestly, I’m looking for advice. I froze in shock. How awful for my sweet little nieces to watch their house disappear like this. They must be so scared and confused,” she captioned a photo of the fire. (Pratt marries his Hills costar in November 2008 and the couple share two sons, Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months.)
Stephanie, who also appeared on The hillspublished Instagram story to expand the news. “My heart is beyond broken for my brother, Heidi and the kids,” Stephanie posted along with a photo of Spencer watching the flames. “I just spoke to my dad – he tried to save my brother’s house but the wind is so strong he couldn’t do anything.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Spencer took to social media to share footage of the raging fire through her Instagram story shot of a light aircraft flying through the sky and dumping water over the affected region, while thick black smoke rises from mountains in the background and foreground.
TMZmeanwhile, shared a video of Spencer standing outside his home, cellphone in hand, as he watched the fire ravage his neighborhood with a loved one. At one stage during the clip, Spencer was seen wiping his eyes as either the smoke or the speck of ash affected his vision.
The footage then captured the blaze itself as Spencer was seen pointing to show how close the fire had come.
The out-of-control wildfire that burned more than 1,200 acres in Pacific Palisades, home to many celebrity residentsprompted local evacuations earlier Tuesday.
Casino an actor James Woods shared footage of the natural disaster before evacuating his own property, taking it with him X to post a video of his surroundings and caption it “Leaving.”

Paul Archuleta/Getty ImagesUSA today reported on Tuesday that mass evacuation orders for “approximately 30,000” residents, in addition to power outages, have affected the star-studded area. The fire was first reported around 10 a.m. after it was seen gathering speed along West Sunset Boulevard.
Eugene Levy evacuated “early” Tuesday, according to Los Angeles Times.
Steve Gutenbergmeanwhile, was spotted in action on Tuesday, spending considerable time assisting fire crews by moving cars so emergency vehicles could access the roads.
Gutenberg, 66, said KTLA in an interview filmed on the street, “I live right up the hill. I have friends up there right now and they can’t evacuate because it’s stuck on Palisades Drive. There are families up there, there are pets, there are people who really need help.”
The fire also canceled numerous planned events in the area, including the premieres for Jennifer Lopezis new movie Unstoppableand The wolf man starring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner.
