Harry Redknapp says England leader Thomas Tuchel is a “German spy”

Harry Redknapp has highlighted the Head of New England Thomas Tuchel “a German spy” and appeared to be performing a Nazi greeting when talking to a charity event.

Tuchel, who was born in the Bavarian city of Krumbach, was appointed as a coach of three Lions last October and supervised his first two games during this international break, guiding England to victories over Albania and Latvia.

Speaking last week before these games, Redknapp was asked his thoughts on Tuchel’s appointment and said at an event in London: “I will be honest with you, I think he is a German spy.

Redknapp then compared him with William Joyce, better known as Lord Haw-Haw, who found the reputation for the broadcast of Nazi propaganda to the United Kingdom during World War II.

Added A video clip acquired by the Guardian: “Seriously, it has been sent to our f ***. It has.

At that point, he raised his left hand and seemed to make a Nazi greeting.

Redknapp wanted an Englishman and not a German tuchel

Redknapp has long argued that an Englishman is responsible for the national team and was impressed when Tuchel was appointed.

He told Sky Sports in October: “It’s not like it was a huge success. He’s coming and left in two clubs.

“I am very patriotic. I think we need to have an English manager. But obviously the field was too small to choose from.

“The English are not very likely to manage in the Premier League now.

Before Eddie Howe won the EFL Cup with Newcastle earlier this month, Redknapp, 78, he was the last English to claim a trophy in this country after leading Portsmouth to the FA Cup in 2008.
