Harry Kane says that English players must have “unpleasant conversations” and “dig each other” if they want to go as a team.
The new boss Thomas Tuchel spoke during the need for improved unity if the three lions have to challenge the World Cup finals in the United States, Canada and Mexico in 15 months.

Captain Kane emphasized that he was a close team today, but admitted that it could be a more contradictory approach required if England is going to win a big trophy for the first time in 60 years.
Speaking in front of Tuchel’s first game against Albania tomorrow night, Bayern Munich striker said: “I think the next step is to get into details and have unpleasant conversations with each other on the pitch and from the stadium when things are not going enough.
“Not only to be a friend of your teammates, but to dig your teammate and push them in a different way. I think this is the next step.
“But in order to be in a victorious team normally. You still have to be willing to have these conversations.”
Leadership team has not yet been formed

“Obviously, Dan (Burn) has come to his first camp, but I think Dan is considered a leader in his role. And we have Dec (Declan Rice) and Jude (Bellingham) and such players, even though they are younger, they also have the responsibility to show these leadership properties.

Kane admits issues in euro
In an immediate interview with ITV Sport, aired earlier on Thursday, Tuchel criticized England’s predecessor Gareth Southgate And he said the team was “scared” and had no “identity and no hunger” at Euro 2024.
Asked about his thoughts, Kane admitted that there was a factor in fear of the team’s game that may have been caused by the state of the pre-tournament as favorites.
He said: “I think there were more expectations than we had in any other tournament. In 2018, with no expectation, 2020 not so much. In the Qatar World Cup, we were not the favorites, but we did pretty well.
“This was probably the first thing we were one of the favorites.
“In a sense it shows how good our character and durability are to get to a European final, but certainly when we watch these games back, we didn’t have the pace we had in other games.”
Brings energy – kane to tuchel
Kane worked at Tuchel in Bayern Munich last season and is happy to be able to reconnect internationally.
He said of the Germans: “He brings a lot of energy when he is on the pitch. I think this definitely fell to the team and the team responded very well.
“Very straightforward talking, he knows what he wants and knows what he wants from his team. No matter who you are or how many games you are playing, he will tell you the same as he will say to one of the new players he wants and this is a good role model to put.”
