You take a deep breath, look the person in the eye and remember your pact, smile, hug, and recommit to this new relationship you’re trying to foster.”
Paltrow is particularly close to both Apple and Moses, eventually falling out when they left for college in 2022 and 2024, respectively. (Apple is a student at Vanderbilt University, while Moses is enrolled at Brown University.)
“It was a big transition. I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew it was going to be difficult because Apple and I are so close and we’ve been together all the time,” Paltrow exclusively speaking Us Weekly in October 2022 “But I had no idea. It was like the worst heartbreak I’ve ever (felt). I felt like the love of my life broke up with me in weeks. It was terrible.”
At the time, the Oscar winner added: “I’m getting more used to it now and it also helps to see her happy and well adjusted. It makes a huge difference. And she just came home for October break, so that was good.
