Pep Guardiola says he is pleased with how his team played in Manchester City, despite the fact that he received another defeat.
The Premier League champions suffered a 2-0 defeat by Juventus, sentenced them to 22nd in the Champions League standings.
City dominated much of the match in Turin, but was hit against both goals.
However, Guardiola defended his players, although it was only a win at 10 for the Spaniard.
Speaking to Tnt Sports after the race, he said: “We played well, really, very well.
“We accept a few, there was some transition, but I’m so proud of these players.
“They give everything and have tried and now we live in this period and we hope that we can change results.

“I know it’s difficult, in the Champions League in Europe. We played very well. Today we did very well, we didn’t lose a lot of balls as in the past, we tried, we got to the seats.
“Against Italian groups, you defend so deeply, so compact. Teacher of such situations. We play what we are and we miss the result but the performance is there.
“We have two games, we need a degree maybe.
“Go to Turin, in Paris, our three away games were very difficult. You have to accept it. We will go back, we will not forget that period, we will appreciate more what we have done in the past, what we are going to do in the future. “
It seems unlikely that City is now automatically qualified in the next round of the Champions League.
Instead, they should enter a round-off round to finish between 9th and 24th.
If they win, they will win a place in the ’16’ of the competition.
But, as Guardiola said, it will probably need at least another point from their games with Paris Saint -Germain and Club Bruges.
