Pep Guardiola says no one at Manchester City, included, is worth a bonus after a season of race.
FIFA announced this week The winners of the renewed World Cup Club will take home of 97 million £assuming they also won their team’s matches.
The city is one of the participating teams in the United States, with the competition starting on June 15, but asked if the manager or players will receive a share of it, Guardiola said: “We don’t deserve this season. We don’t deserve a bonus this season.
“If we go there and win, it’s for the club. Managers, staff, backroom staff, players, we don’t deserve (a bonus).

Guardiola Coy in De Bruyne Future
The Club World Cup has added a potential headache for the city with the Premier League to open an additional window of transport from June 1st to June 10th to allow clubs to strengthen their teams and tie existing players to new deals before the tournament is released.
This opens up the possibility of Kevin de Bruyne, who is out of contract at the end of this season, departing earlier than the scheduled.
Asked about the future of the Belgian game at Etihad, Guardiola said: “He is between the club and Kevin and his agent.
“In the position I am in, we are just worried about the team and the completion of the season at the best possible position.
Guardiola also gave a careful answer to a question asking if the injured midfielder Rodri could return to the Club World Cup.
He said: “It would be nice if he could play tomorrow, but (she would be) the wrong decision right now, he behaves very well on the court, but the competition is different, we must be sure he is okay before he gets involved.”

Guardiola insists the fa cup will always be important to the city
The city is heading to the south coast as favorites to win the fa cup and hopes to expand their remarkable record to reach the semifinals in a seventh consecutive year.
Guardiola always took the cup competitions seriously and says that the attitude is not going to change.
“We see in the Premier League every week and we can prove it again in the fa cup. I remember in Barcelona and Bayern Munich, in England the biggest thing is that every team can beat any team,” he said.
“I have seen teams like Liverpool that have made it amazing in the Premier League, like Arsenal, but the other teams can all happen.
“We take the fa cup seriously like the Carabao Cup in the past when we won it four times in a row.”
