Alisson seems to have to be the first choice for Liverpool, but it will be interesting to see if he can keep his place.
Mamardashvili would certainly not have been signed only to come and sit on the bench, but maybe the LFC also did not expect Alisson to still be so powerful at this stage of his career.
Giorgi Mamardashvili or Alisson for Liverpool number one next season?
This is sure to be an interesting epic that will follow in the coming months, with LFC may likely send mamardashvili out for a loan.
Again, maybe the 24 -year -old will join and become the number one of the slot immediately, and Alisson could just leave.
But this seems a dangerous strategy for Reds, as they are already facing three other experienced players in the form of Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk.
All three big names are out of contract this summer and Liverpool could really do without losing this spine of the team that was so successful for so many years.
