According to an arrest report, Victoria told Amato that she and Aaron experienced problems in their marriage.
“She further described that she was lonely and started to make contact with Amato,” says the report.
The pair usually communicated via SMS messages, according to the report.
“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,” Victoria reportedly asked Amato via SMS.

Victoria Amato was able to talk about the exact location of Aaron via the “Find My” application. Amato passed on this information to a third party who would ‘take care of the situation’.

“He is now sleeping in the hotel room,” Amato reportedly wrote to the nameless person. “I have to know what’s going on. Can I get an update? Was it ready?”

The alleged plot of the murder-for-rent was discovered after Corrections officers of Florida seized the phone from Amato. The Metropolitan Police in Las Vegas was informed and continued with the arrest of Victoria.
When he was arrested, Victoria would have denied the plans to let her husband kill and want him to die.

“She described herself of sometimes daydreaming to be in a different situation, but she no longer felt that way,” said the report. “She also stated that she did not remember that she sent those specific messages. Victoria expressed her feeling without wanting to be Aaron and with Amato, which she described as fantasy and daydreams.”
Aaron applied for a divorce from Victoria last week, just a few days after she was arrested. Documents were submitted on Wednesday in Clark County, Nevada.
