Georgia High School Basketball Player Assaults Pair or Athletes from Opposing Team, Video Shows


Tempers flared up during a Basketball in high school Game in Georgia this month. The heated moment seemed to cause a physical fight between players from opposite teams.

TMZ reported that the fight in question took place during a competition between Sonoraville High School and Rockmart High School on January 3 in Calhoun, Georgia. Calhoun is about 70 miles from Downtown atlanta.

A video posted on social media Seemed to show a non -GEIDENDENT ROCKMART player who pushed one of the athletes from Sonoraville to the ground. The Rockmart athlete then immediately hit the Sonoraville player in the face immediately after he had recovered his foot.

The Rockmart player was later seen who hit a separate player of the opposite team.

The second Sonoraville player was hit after he stood at the fight. Spectators in the crowd were told that they make noises while responding to the situation. The video also showed a few people who moved from the stands to the judicial area to intervene.

An incident report of the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office A Rockmart player proposed was provoked by the repeated use of a racial blemish of the player of the other team.

The teenager who seemed to initiate physical contact during the incident was confronted with two accusations of simple battery, according to the police report. The fight broke out during the third quarter of the game.

Officials of Rockmart High School and Sonoraville High School still have to give public comments on the incident.
