The countdown is at the most impatient expected meeting of the year. On Tuesday, the starter will increase the film, the famous roar will resonate throughout the countryside of Gloucestershire, and the Cheltenham 2025 festival will begin.
Four days of Horse Racing, enhanced by a carnival atmosphere as players from the United Kingdom and Ireland gather for the ‘Greater demonstration in the lawn’.
The stars are, of course, horses. Constitution Hill, Jonbon and Teahupoo are scheduled to run before the climax of Climax on Friday with Galopin Des Champs for the third consecutive gold cup.
Around the races come the narratives associated with trainers: Willie Mullins continues his dominance. How will Nicky Henderson’s fare after the nightmare of 2024. Will they both?
Add the many complications of this particular sport, the transition, the weather, the form, and there will be undoubtedly countless stories that appear during an absorbent week.
The matches just don’t improve … 🤯

Day 1 led by Hill Constitution
Constitution Hill is the first of the big hitters to perform, going to the Hurdle champion, the characteristic match on Tuesday. Henderson’s star turned last year due to poor health, but was expected to return with a stroke. This was, however, until Elliott chose to enter BrighterDaysahead after an extremely impressive screen on Leopardstown in December. It should be a Royale battle.
Second day or style on Wednesday, as he has rebuilt, he sees Jonbon in action in the champion of the mother of the mother, Seple Chase. Henderson may have more confidence in this, though he does not exclude the Gaelic warrior, Energumene or Marine Nationale.
Can anyone stop Jonbon? 👀

Thursday is the day of St. Patrick, where the emphasis is on both the “Craic” and the races. This does not mean that there will be no plenty of enthusiasm on the track with two feature races, including the obstacle of the parameters in which it should have enough to repeat last year’s Triumph.
Gold Cup Friday
And then it’s the big one, as the Galopin des Champs tries to make the story, unites the likes of Cottage Rake, Arkle and Best Mate and go back-back.
The Mullins Stable star won a third consecutive Irish Gold Cup last month and will be largely supported to repeat the feat at Cheltenham.
“It’s huge,” Mullins said.
“It is incredible that we have a horse going for a third gold cup.
“To connect with a horse like this, it is a huge honor to join. We are all happy and hope the dream will remain alive.”
Nothing feels like Cheltenham… 🤩

It would be a suitable end to what is sure to be another exciting festival if Galopin des Champs can do it.
But if he doesn’t, he just creates another title, another horse push on the mattress.
And all they can, fans will enjoy themselves: Guinness will be drunk. The stories will be told. The laughs will be long and loud.
Bring it.
