Former Gers Gers Tears in Sub-Clement Clement

Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd says Philippe Clement is worth the criticism of today’s street and does not believe that Light Blues will improve under Belgium Belgium.

The Rangers collapsed from the Scottish Cup yesterday after losing 1-0 at IBrox in the Queen’s Park Park-the first time the club had lost a tie in a team from a lower championship in their 153-year history.

He scored a new low for Clement, whose side sat 13 points behind Celtic at Scottish Premiership.

Ibrox anger as rangers shame

The defeat met with an inevitable mania from the club’s fanbase and, although Clement insisted he would not give up, Boyd feels that the issue should come out of his hands.

Former Scotland International was turned on television on Sky Sports News: “Clement had already criticized – and rightly so, in my opinion. Thirteen points behind Celtic in the league, from the Scottish Cup at Queen’s Park at home and lost the final of the championship at Celtic.

“Yes, they have the qualifications for the last 16 of the Europa League, but in the domestic market – when I grew up – it was everything and it’s all over. And now, it’s not good enough.

“I don’t see that this Rangers team is getting better. Away from home they have really struggled.

“Within a few weeks. You could see the style of the game. The fans bought in it and we know what happened next. 3.5 million for (Nedim) Bajrami, which is a lot of money for Rangers.

The Boyd Requests Board of Directors incentives to maintain Clement

Boyd believes that financial issues may be behind the Board of Directors’ decision not to pull the trigger for Clement’s term.

He added: “Rangers ‘fans want to learn – and I know that (CEO) Patrick Stewart said it was not a financial decision, but now Rangers’ fans need to know if Philippe Clement is only there because of the finances.

“You’re talking about not wanting to rinse and repetition of managers – you have to do this until you find the right manager. You can’t just say because we have fired the last three executives we will continue with it – it doesn’t work like that.”

Gerrard to come back?

Steven Gerrard has already settled as his favorite to take over Clement Leave and make an emotional return to Glasgow.

The former midfielder of England, who left the Saudi Arabic Club Al-Estifaq last month, led the Rangers to 2020-21-21 Scottish Premiership, denying Celtic a 10th consecutive championship title.

He then joined Aston Villa, but was fired after 11 months after a poor start in the 2022-23 campaign.
