The former staff chef for us Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-CortezDN.Y., on Wednesday announced his intention to against Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. To run, and called the Democratic party “paralyzed and unprepared” for President Donald Trump’s second term of office.

In a long -term message on X, Saikat Chakrabarti said that he decided to run against the former speaker of the house, who is looking for a 21st term, after he “Trump and Elon (Musk) freely has fooled chaos in their illegal government.”

“It has become clear to me that the Democratic party needs new leadership,” he wrote. “I don’t understand how DC’s democratic leaders were so paralyzed and unprepared before the moment after life by President Trump’s first term – and after Trump and Elon warned us exactly what they were planning to do.”

While Chakrabarti said he is respecting the democratic leader, the country has changed dramatically since her early days in Washington. He noted that Pelosi intervened to block Ocasio-Cortez to become chairman of the powerful House committee for supervision and reform.

“When Nancy Pelosi was chosen for the first time in the congress, you could buy a house with one income. A summer job could pay for the university,” he wrote. “Republicans believed in climate change and respected election results. Now the things that the American dream defined – are able to pay health care, education, a house and raise a family – impossible for most people.”

He added that the Republican party is “openly conspiracy and anti -democracy.”
