Kevin Harlan has one of the most recognizable voices in sport. The old broadcaster has handled Play-by-Play tasks for NFL, NBA and College Basketball Games.
Harlan’s voice can currently be heard during part of this year NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament Games. He was in the call for the hard-fought victory of No. 6-plagued Ole Miss at No. 11 North Carolina.
But at one point in the first half Harlan had to think quickly – and he certainly came up with the occasion.

Ole Miss gave a 41-23 lead North Carolina With just over two minutes before half -time when a rebel player tried to prevent a wandering ball from getting out of the borders. But a Tar whole player brought the ball.

Harlan then set his fast reflexes completely shown, while at the same time offering a play-by play of the promotion. “Beads the ball with a jump. Dressed from the borders, bent off by me and aside,” he said, stretching his arm to ensure that his broadcast partner Stan van Gundy was not hit by the ball.
“It went well for you, have you seen that?” Harlan then asked the former NBA coach.
Van Gundy then looked at the repetition and praised Harlan and said, “Great deflection!”

Almost immediately after the Tar Heels were unveiled as one of the 68 teams that reached ‘the dance’, the legendary program was for considerable recoil. Because UNC was the last team that was given a place in the NCAA tournament, they had to play in the “first four” for seed purposes.

The Tar Heels dominated the San Diego State Aztecs In that matchup to earn the number 11 seed in the southern region. But North Carolina could not overcome Ole Miss in the first round.
RJ Davis led the Tar Heels with 15 points, while the 20-point performance of Sean Pedulla helped the rebels. Ole Miss meets no. 3 Iowa in the second round on Sunday in Milwaukee.
