Members of the skating community have pronounced after a flight from an American Airlines on a tragic bone against an army helicopter late on Wednesday evening in Washington, DC, so that all 67 on board both aircraft was probably left dead.

Wichita Mayor Lily Wu did not confirm how many members of our figure skating were on board Flight 5342 During a press conference on Thursday morning.
“It was really an honor to have Future Olympians And those who find themselves at the highest competitive level of figure skating here in our capital, “she said.
“We were so enthusiastic to have the opportunity to organize the National Championship, and even yesterday I let people tell how great the last few days have been with extra individuals who came to our community, whether they had to watch or participate So our community was really excited and grateful that the championship was now going for more information that we can release.

First Responders switched to recovery efforts in the Potomac River after being believed that there were no survivors. There were 60 passengers and four crew members on board the flight and three soldiers on board the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.
“This is heartbreaking,” wrote Team USA art skater Josfine Lee in a message to her Instagram stories. “My thoughts and prayers go to everyone during the flight, including the skaters, coaches and parents.”

Team USA Pair -Skater Luke Wang shared a similar sentiment in a post on X.
“Praying for everyone who is on the flight from Wichita to DC. Under the passengers were skaters and coaches. Absolutely heartbreaking.”
Various other teams art skaters also went to social media.
“Words cannot understand the fear and the grief that I feel of this event,” said the American junior champion Hana Maria Aboian, said early on Thursday morning. “It’s absolutely terrible and I pray for all athletes, coaches and everyone on board to be safe and healthy.”
“I have no words for words … I can’t even explain how do I feel for the loss of great people on this flight. I send prayed to their families and the skating community,” Starr Andrews said.

The International Skating Union has also released a statement.
“Our thoughts are with everyone who is affected by this tragedy. Figure skating is more than a sport-it is a close-knit family and we stand together. We stay in close contact with us as skating of us and offer our full support During this incredibly difficult time, “the statement partially read.
Two former Olympians, Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, were also supposed to be the victims of the plane crash, the Kremlin confirmed.
