FBI director Kash Patel evokes the ‘false’ report from CNN on large ATF cuts

First on Fox – FBI director Kash Patel Has strongly refuted that a CNN report claims that he performs a “large cut” of the Bureau for Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) (ATF) (ATF) in a memo for ATF employees, has learned Fox News Digital.

CNN reported on Saturday that Patel “sketched plans to move no fewer than 1,000 ATF agents to the FBI” and “ATF’s agents with more than a third party,” said three unnamed sources.

“The relocation represents a great cut of the ATF, an agency that has long been in sight of armor rights groups who believe that his work infringes the rights of the second amendment,” ” Said CNN. “The ATF has around 2,600 agents and more than 5,000 employees, a number that have largely remained unchanged for years.”

“I want to tackle a report this weekend that speculates about the intentions of FBI leadership with staff decisions at the ATF,” Patel began the memo obtained by Fox News Digital. “This weekend, CNN News reported about a plan on the part of our leadership to cut ‘no less than a third’ from ATF agents and re -assign 1,000 agents to the FBI. The report even suggested that our leadership team changed the course after reading a news report, and ultimately the support of certain aspects of changes. “The fake news will never be responsible for the operational command authority about the ATF, we are,” said Patel. “The brave men and women of the ATF who are courageously devote themselves to the protection of the American public, will not endanger their safety by the media disinformation campaigns. If we make decisions, they will be definitive, regardless of the import of CNN or another news organization.”

“You have written everything you can do about me that fake, malignant, defamatory and defamatory. Keep it. Bring it out, but let the men and women of the FBI earn better,” Patel told news broadcasts, who sparks applause in the room.
