Former Obama minister of Defense and CIA director Leon Panetta credited President Donald Trump for the “possibility” of a “clean” Russia-Ukraine-striking-the-home.
On Tuesday, State Secretary Marco Rubio said that Ukraine had agreed For a 30-day ceasefire proposed by the Trump government, depending on the response of Russia.

Panetta gave Trump credit on “CNN News Central” for being able to negotiate a possible cease -the fire and insisted on him to be fixed against Putin.

“Look, this is a test for the president,” said Panetta. “Whether he stands strong because he is doing the right thing or whether he comes in to come in Putin, that will be the problem. And I hope he is strong.”
“He was able to negotiate the possibility of a clean cease -it is. That is his merit,” he went on.
Panetta warned that adding other issues to the negotiations “would undermine the ability to get a ceasefiring -the fire.”
“What the president has to make to make Putin clear is that he gets the chance to accept a ceasefire now that the murder will stop,” he said. “Let’s do that and let’s negotiate the problems in the longer term.”

Panetta’s comments came shortly after Trump said he will last “Hope” that Russia will do “Do the right one” and agree with a cease -the fire with Ukraine.

Trump told reporters just after Putin’s comments that the statement of the Russian president was “very promising” but incomplete.

“Many details of a definitive agreement have actually been discussed,” said Trump. “Now we’ll see if Russia is there or not.”
“If they are not, it will be a very disappointing moment for the world,” he added.
