Former Buffalo Bills star wide receiver Eric Molds has been accused in a lawsuit of intentionally inflicting sexually transmitted infections (STDs) on several women.
That’s what the woman who filed the lawsuit said the Buffalo News that Molds “knew or should have known that he had a sexually transmitted disease” and did not disclose the disease before they became intimate. The newspaper reported that Molds allegedly gave the woman the herpes simplex virus type 2.

Herpes simplex type 2 spreads through sexual contact and causes genital herpesaccording to the World Health Organization. It is treatable, but not curable.
The lawsuit stated that Moulds’ pregnant fiancée contacted the plaintiff and recommended she get tested for STDs, and that the plaintiff became aware of other women through social media who claimed to have contracted STDs from the former NFL player player.
“I think about women who might be in the same situation as me, and I know what I would have liked to see with my own eyes,” she told the Buffalo News.
Frank LoTempio III, who represents Moulds, told the newspaper that the allegations against his client are false.

“We are in the process of gathering information/evidence and will respond to the complaint, which we will vigorously defend,” he added in a separate interview. with Newsweek. “I will have more information and comment once the trial begins.”
According to the lawsuit, Molds allegedly contacted the woman via social media in 2018 and entered into a romantic relationship in January 2023, with the pair reportedly having their last sexual encounter in November 2023, the newspaper said.
The woman said she tested positive for the disease in December 2023, despite having no sexual partners other than Molds during that period.
Molds was a first-round pick by the Bills in 1996 out of Mississippi State. He played the entire 2005 season with Buffalo, spending the last two with the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans, respectively.
