Every non-Arsenal player is up for grabs

Tottenham will be looking at their north London rivals with no trace of sympathy given their injury woes this season.

While Arsenal’s campaign has been stuttered by long-term injuries to first Martin Odegaard and now Bucayo Saka, Ange Postecoglou has been forced to work without a first-choice defense for much of the ongoing campaign.

Spurs’ injuries have put them in jeopardy Premier League campaign but retain a chance to win silverware in three cup matches. The club’s poor run in the league minimizes the pressure on Wednesday’s north London derby, but they win away from home Arsenal it would be a monumental scalp for a manager who has yet to win over the entire Lilywhite fan base.

Tottenham’s injury situation has changed since the weekend and here is the latest ahead of their trip to the Emirates.

William Vicar rushed back onto the training ground as soon as he saw Antonin Kinsky strut his stuff on his debut against Liverpool last week. The 21-year-old’s impressive start in north London will only accelerate Vicario’s desire to return from a broken ankle, which is expected to keep him out until next month.

Fraser Forster he has missed the last few games due to illness and it remains to be seen whether he will be included on the bench against Arsenal.

At center back, Radu Dragusin and Archie Gray are set to continue as a pair Christian Romero and Mickey van de Ven both out of action until the end of the month. Ben Davis He is close to returning from a hamstring injury and could be included in Wednesday’s squad.

Destiny Udogie he has also succumbed to a hamstring problem and will return in mid-February.

Rodrigo Bendancur forced off in the opening exchanges against Liverpool after a worrying run. The midfielder was stretchered off and rushed to hospital, with Postecoglou confirming that Bedancourt had suffered a concussion.

He did not feature against Tamworth at the weekend and will not feature at the Emirates as he follows the concussion protocol.

Yves Bissouma should continue at the base of midfield having put together some impressive performances to start 2025.

Richarlison he returned to training at the start of the year and is finally ready to make his long-awaited return from injury in the derby.

“Richarlison has been pestering me for the last ten days to get involved, but we are disciplined with it and he has looked very good in training,” Postecoglou said on Tuesday. “He looks ready to leave so very happy to repeat him.”

The Brazilian has been sidelined for months with a hamstring injury suffered in the 4-1 win over Aston Villa.

However, Tottenham seems to have lost Timo Werner in a thigh injury. The German struggled at Tamworth on Sunday but played 90 minutes before Spurs scored three in extra time. Spurs will await the results of his scan before giving a diagnosis. However, he will not play on Wednesday.

Summer arrival Wilson Odobert is a long-term absentee after undergoing hamstring surgery and his return date is not yet known.
