An Arab-supported $ 53 billion plan for the reconstruction of Gaza received support from France, Germany, Italy and the UK, after a Pushback from the US and Israel.
“The plan shows a realistic path to the reconstruction of Gaza and promises – if implemented – rapid and sustainable improvement of the catastrophic living conditions for the Palestinians living in Gaza,” wrote the Ministers of Foreign Affairs in a joint explanation.
The Foreign Minister Ministers called for a post -war plan based on ‘a solid political and safety framework’, but repeated the need for Hamas not to be able to rule Gaza. Moreover, the European leaders said that they support the “central role” of the Palestinian Authority (PA) in a post -war Gaza and “the implementation of the reform agenda”. “

The Egyptian plan of $ 53 billion was intended as a proof of president Donald Trump’s American takeover idea and comes after Cairo has rejected the idea of accepting displaced Gazans for “national security” reasons. Although Trump’s plan would restore Palestinians outside the strip, Egypt’s proposal focuses on reconstruction efforts led by Palestinian.
Both the US and Israel have rejected Arabic supported plan for Gaza-Weder structure. Spokesperson Marmorstein, spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement that the plan “does not tackle the reality of the situation after 7 October 2023, rooted in outdated perspectives.”

The statement by Marmorstein also criticized the plan for his dependence on the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). He says that both the PA and the UNRWA “repeatedly corruption, support for terrorism and failure have demonstrated when solving the problem.”
While the special envoy of the US to the Midden -East Steve Witkoff called the plan a ‘good faith first step’, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tammy Bruce Reporters told that ‘it does not meet the requirements, the nature of what President Trump asks’.
In addition, spokesman Brian Hughes of the National Security Council provides concern about the plan in a statement provided to FOX News Digital.
“The current proposal is not about the reality that Gaza is currently uninhabitable, and residents cannot live in a territory covered with debris and non -depleted ammunition. President Trump is based on his vision of freeing Gaza from Hamas.”
