Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen expects he expects to leave the club this summer at the end of his contract.
Eriksen, 33, has played almost 100 games for the club since he has signed from Brdford in the summer of 2022.
He wants to pursue his career in Denmark in the next year’s World Cup, so he has ruled a return to his home country – for now.
He said: “I haven’t heard anything from the club and so I guess the cooperation will stop.

“My contract expires this summer and I’m ready to find something new.
“I wait and see what offers are coming. I’m not going to make hasty decisions, but if the right thing comes, I’ll get it.
“The intention is not to stay in England and I don’t go to the US. We don’t go so far.
“My ambition is still playing for the national team and so I don’t feel it is time to go home.”
Eriksen collapsed after cardiac arrest during the euro in 2021, but made a complete recovery and played every minute of the Danish World Cup campaign in 2022.
He has a record of 140 caps for his country and scored 43 goals – just nine behind the record shared by Poul Nielsen and former Newcastle Jon Dahl Tomasson man.
