ENZO MARESCA’s work as Boss Chelsea 100% secure according to Blues manager

The leader of Chelsea Enzo Maresca remains “100%” safe in his position for the time, despite the sinking of the team, according to the director of the Jonathan Goldstein club.

After moving from Leicester City, Maresca overseered an impressive start for its term in West London.

Chelsea competed alongside Liverpool and Arsenal for the Premier League title heading to Christmas.

However, from their 2-0 win in Brdford in December, Chelsea only made two wins in the last nine championship matches.

Their last failure was a heavy 3-0 defeat in Brighton, raising concerns about their performance.

Despite the history of the club’s management changes, Chelsea has now fallen into sixth place, slipping from the Champions League qualifications.

However, Goldstein publicly expressed his support in Maresca, making the first member of the Board of Directors to do so.

“It does a great job,” said Goldstein, a key number in the Blueco consortium that acquired Chelsea in 2022. “Chelsea started very well at the time.

“The last six weeks have been, you know, finding their feet a little more. But Enzo has clearly done a great job to bring the team together, bringing the talent.

When asked if Maresca would remain responsible for the rest of the season, Goldstein simply said: “100%”.

Chelsea is going to face Aston Villa on Saturday in a crucial match that could significantly affect their chances of securing European football next season.

While Chelsea initially appeared to be a title candidates, Maresca consistently stated that their primary focus has always secured a top finish instead of setting a championship challenge.
