Thomas Tuchel has criticized Gareth Southgate’s predecessor and claims that England did not have a clear style of play at Euro 2024 last summer.
The three lions have reached the final, despite a series of submissive screens only to be hit in an extra time from Spain.
Southgate’s tactics were widely criticized with England winning only one of the three team games in Germany before demanding a brilliant, last kick by Jude Bellingham to prevent a round-16 exit to Slovakia.
Sanctions had to see Switzerland, and it took another stop time, this time by Ollie Watkins, to beat the Netherlands in the semifinals.
Southgate stood after the tournament and was replaced by Tuchel, who takes over the team for the first time tomorrow night, when England opens the World Cup qualifying campaign against Albania in Wembley.
“He was more afraid of leaving the tournament than having the excitement and hunger to win it” 👀

“He was more afraid to leave the tournament in my observation than having the excitement and hunger to win.”
Enthusiasm of Tuchel’s Headlist’s Wish List

“That we already know when we arrive, as soon as we have the qualifications, that this is the team we need to win.”
